Cherry is aiming to minimise any negative impacts the business might have on the environment, and thereby contribute to both a long-term sustainable society and profitability. For example, we are choosing ways of transportation which have less of an impact on the environment. Before a potential business trip, the purpose as well as the value of the trip must be assessed. Modern technology makes it possible to carry out conferences via phone or video calls. When a business trip is to be organised, we try to plan it in the most time-efficient way, and schedule as many meetings and visits as possible during the duration of the trip. Furthermore, we work continuously to take care of harmful emissions in a way that minimises the environmental impact. We want to maintain an open dialogue on environmental issues with our stakeholders, suppliers and entrepreneurs, and the whole Cherry Group is working together to motivate responsible actions regarding environmental decisions within the organisation.
